The space
Welcome to Ramblin Rose!
This architectural marvel in the heart of the Texas Hill Country is located just 10 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Sitting on 12 beautiful, secluded and private acres, this 4 bedroom/3 bath home is made up of 3 separate, converted shipping containers. Each of the two lower containers are 2 bedroom/1 bath (1 queen size bed, 1 full) with a small living room and kitchen, and the upper container has a wide open floor plan with a big screen TV, a full size kitchen, a couch (that has a bed), a washer and dryer, and a bathroom with a large 2 person bathtub. All cooking utensils and pots and pans are provided, along with silverware, glasses, etc. There is a hot tub that doubles as a lounge pool in the summer too!

Guest access
The entire 12.5 acres is private and you will have access to all of it. Feel free to hike, explore, sit in a blind and watch deer as they eat, and/or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the Texas Hill Country!

4 Person Visit to The Elephant Preserve in Fredericksburg

This once-in-a-lifetime 1.5-hour interactive experience allows you to fully immerse yourself with these amazing creatures as well as gain an understanding of the need for elephant conservation. Learn to give an elephant a bath, take photos and learn all about Asian Elephant care and conservation. Recommended for adults and kids 8+ (the youngers won't have the attention span necessary for such a special experience). Consider grabbing our one-night stay at "Ramblin' Rose" to cap off your date with the elephants!

This was a one-of-a-kind, amazing experience! We learned so much about Asian elephants, and it was such an honor to be able to see these beautiful creatures up close. Rosie, Becky, and Kitty (the "girls") were so majestic, and it is very evident that the staff who work with and care for these animals truly love, admire, and respect them. The staff were warm and friendly and made their presentations exciting and informative. They kept the audience invested by alternating between education and hands-on involvement, and they made us feel like we were truly part of the process to save the Asian elephants. From my 8-year old children to my 80-year old parents, we all left the Preserve feeling enlightened and inspired.

More about the band -
A Texas-based band whose earthy timbres span a mix of country, blues, folk, and straight-up rock & roll, the Statesboro Revue is led by dynamic brothers duo Stewart and Garrett Mann. After debuting in 2009 with a distinctly blues-rock feel, the group spent much of the following decade branching out in a number of different roots-driven directions, culminating in their colorful third album, 2015's Jukehouse Revival. After a five-year gap, the band returned in 2020 with several singles.
Formed in 2008 in the Austin satellite of New Braunfels, the Statesboro Revue came out of the gate with an edgy blues-rock sound courtesy of bandleader and chief songwriter Stewart Mann, whose brother Garrett handled lead guitar. Working with producer , they recorded their 2009 debut, Different Kind of Light, which placed a pair of singles high on the Texas Music Chart. Breakout performances at SXSW and gigs with heavy-hitters ranging from to followed over the next few years as they began to flex their creative muscles in advance of 2013's Ramble on Privilege Creek, their second album. As more country, Americana, and Southern rock influences bled into their sound, Mann and his bandmates dialed in their songwriting and completed the more fully realized Jukehouse Revival in 2015. Things remained relatively quiet for the Statesboro Revue in the latter half of the decade, but in early 2020, they re-emerged with the rowdy single "Sinner, Saint, S.O.B."
