DOGSgiving was an idea born in 2021, when Greyson Sandau adopted his first dog Django from his local animal rescue. He was seven years old at the time and he had no idea how much work went into rescuing dogs.

Greyson began saving his allowance to help other pups and when he presented his funds to WAG (Wimberley Adoption Group & Rescue), he was able to tour the facilities.

​

He got a firsthand look at what it took to run the shelter. He learned about the costs of medicine, vet visits, kennels and maintenance for the shelter and grounds.

​

Greyson was inspired to raise more money to help and the idea for DOGSgiving was born.

​

Now in our 4th year of fundraising, DOGSgiving has raised over $11,000 for rescue dogs.

All proceeds this year will be shared directly with our WAG and Happy Hearts Dog Rescue!
